Anglers gearing up for commencement of trout season

You've been watching fishing shows, attending local trout stockings, purchasing your favorite lures and fishing line and servicing your fishing rods and reels.

Now, all that's left is to go fishing. You'll have that chance during the statewide opening day of trout season, which kicks off at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Perhaps you missed the "big white truck" when it stocked trout at Cloe Lake and the streams and creeks in Jefferson County.
