150th anniversary celebration drawing near for Big Run

The countdown is on, as the Big Run 150th Anniversary Celebration is just a little more than a month away, and a lot of housekeeping work was approved, along with the schedule, at Monday's Big Run Borough Council meeting.

Robin McKee, 150th Committee co-chair, discussed the placement of the banners to be attached to the utility poles in town and the historic yard markers. She showed council the historic signs that they used for the 125th anniversary and have kept in storage since.
