PA Attorney General: Local multi-county meth ring dismantled

Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro and local law enforcement and judicial officials gathered on the lawn of the Jefferson County Courthouse Monday morning to announce the successful conclusion of Operation Snail Mail, the result of which was the dismantling of a multi-county methamphetamine ring.
“This was a major meth ring and a major law enforcement operation,” Shapiro said.
Thirty arrest warrants were issued, and at the time of the press conference, 22 of the individuals in question were in custody. Shapiro said the remaining eight would be arrested in short order.
The following individuals are facing charges of criminal conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver drugs and corrupt organizations:

• Larry Dean, 58, Mayport
• Destiny Douglas, 21, DuBois
• Anthony Dubeck, 57, DuBois
• Angela Gilbert, 20, DuBois
• Patrick Groves, 36, Reynoldsville
• Jeanne Gouldthread, 34, DuBois
• Dale Hanlin, 66, Cooksburg
• Tracy Harmon, 56, Mayport
• Daniel Hopkins, 50, Tucson, Arizona
• Deren Issler, 51, Brockway
• Christina Kinder, 43, DuBois
• Joseph Kot Sr., 38, DuBois
• Matthew McKinley, 47, Brookville
• Sasha Messina, 27, Shippenville
• Marc Panzer, 35, Brookville
• Brian Pentz, 31, DuBois
• Meredith Pisoni, 38, Brockway
• Shane Porrin, 32, DuBois
