Success as trout season kicks off

The first day of trout season was “golden” for anglers at Cloe Lake who were lucky enough to hook into the trophy golden trout, also known as “palaminos” on Saturday. Brendon Reitz was the first angler to catch one of the trophy fish on Saturday, hauling in a 20-inch Golden trout.
