Halfway home at the fair

Wednesday was Family Fun Day at the Jefferson County Fair, and there was plenty of fun for everyone who attended. The fair rolled over the hump of midweek with the featured event being the stock, super stock and hot farm pulls taking center stage. As is always the case, there were plenty of other things going on outside the grandstand, as well, with rides, side shows, Bingo and karaoke. Today, there will be an “enhanced” car and truck mud bog at 7 p.m., with Fiddler’s Jam of Brookville’s CREATE Cafe taking the stage from 9 to 11 p.m. (Photo by Matthew Triponey of The Spirit)
